Application

softwall hose designed to convey sand. It is connected to the sandboxes in the locomotives, that contain the sand which is used to increase the adhesion of the wheels on the rails during the start-up and slip in special situations.

Temperature

from -40°C (-40°F) to +90°C (+194°F).

Construction

Tube: black, smooth, synthetic rubber.
Reinforcement: high strength synthetic cord.
Cover: black, smooth (wrapped finish), synthetic rubber.

Branding: continuous white stripe “IVG Rail (family logo)...”.
