Application
self floating hardwall hose, designed as a flexible connection between ship and oil rig to convey drilling mud and petroleum products with aromatic content up to 50%. The buoyancy reserve (D1) is calculated following the OCIMF standard.
Tensile breaking load: 4000 kgf for inside diameter 3", 7000 kgf for all other diameters.
Temperature
from -20°C (-4°F) a +90°C (+194°F).
Construction
Tube: black, smooth, PVC/NBR rubber.
Reinforcement: high strength synthetic plies, steel helix and anti-static copper wires.
Cover: black, smooth (wrapped finish) CR rubber. Resistant to oil, abrasion, weathering and sea water.
