Daciano Colbachini, the first athlete from Padua to the Olympics

During the inaugural day of the Paris 2024 Olympics, we remember our founder Daciano Colbachini with this article published by the newspaper "Il Mattino di Padova": https://bit.ly/3LHf8Qa
Daciano Colbachini was the first athlete from Padua to participate in the Olympic Games: first in Stockholm in 1912 and then in Antwerp in 1920 in the 110 meter hurdles.
The historic athletics stadium in Padua is named after the founder of IVG Colbachini. Daciano Colbachini Stadium is the point of reference for technical athletics activity in Veneto and for several editions has hosted the "International Meeting Città di Padova" in which world-famous athletes participate.
Thanks toi Daciano Colbachini for your continuous inspiration and for serving as a reminder that great results are possible only with great passion, sacrifice and determination.
