IVG receives the Innovation Award for the Dijon hose

“Inspiring Innovation in Food and Beverage Technologies”. This is the claim of the Cibus Tec exhibition in which we participated as exhibitor. This Italian event has been a reference for decades for food technology and in the 2023 edition our Dijon hose was awarded. An award that highlights the qualities of this new and innovative hose which has aroused the interest of many operators and buyers in the food industries.

What does it mean that the tube is 100% food grade?

All layers of the Dijon hose are food certified, therefore not just the rubber compounds of the tube but also the reinforcement and the cover. This guarantees the total purity of any conveyed product, even in processes in which the hose is accidentally immersed in the food fluid.

Is it suitable for fats, oils and more sophisticated food products?

Dijon is a very versatile hose suitable for many food fluids: from alcohol to fats up to oils, dairy products, juices and canned foods (it is important to check the suitability in the declarations on contact foods according to DM 21/03/1973, Arrêté 08.05.2020, BfR cat. 2 ed. 2021).

Does the hose comply with food regulations?

Dijon is one of the most complete hoses in the world and complies with Italian and international standards: for example Arrêté français 2020 edition and BfR 2021 edition. The rubber compound is also tested according to Japan Ministry of Health and Welfare Notification No. 370 of 1959.

Is it resistant to temperature variations and CIPs?

Dijon resists temperature range from -30°C up to +100°C. It can also withstand the most common sanitization fluids (peracetic and phosphoric acid, caustic soda,..). Maximum hose life is guaranteed following IVG indications about times and temperatures during cleaning cycles.

Can the hose be ordered complete with fittings?

Dijon can be supplied already cut in the service length and complete with fittings swaged on at the ends (DIN 11851, Clamp, Garolla,...).
